CBT
If you would like to change the way you think and behave in certain situations, then you might find CBT helpful.
Focusing on the here and now, you and I would work together to identify and understand the influences on the way you think and act. We would explore your thoughts, emotions, behaviour and physical reactions to the specific situations you would like to address.
We could then consider what you would like to be different and how you might achieve this. It will probably involve some homework in addition to our one-to-one meetings. For example, you may need to note some specific thoughts and reactions, so that we have some current examples we can work with.

Or, it may be that we devise some reflective questions that are personal to you, that we can explore again when we meet.

Alternatively, it may involve you trying out something new and seeing how it goes.
During each meeting we can discuss how you found the homework, what worked, what didn't and what you would like to focus on and try in the coming week.
I prefer to work in a collaborative, supportive way and I hope that I can help you to understand and resolve your problems.
