Supervision
I enjoy working collaboratively and developmentally with colleagues and the supervisory relationship is at the heart of my approach.
My supervision framework is Hawkins and Shohet's Seven Eyed Model, internationally recognised as suitable for supervising practitioners across modalities and professions.
If you're interested in working with me, then let's talk. We can meet informally for half an hour, free of charge and obligation.
** Counselling supervision:
Trainee: I'm happy to provide supervision reports for you.
Accreditation: I’ll support you through the process and provide your supervision report.
** Coaching supervision:
I meet the AC’s criteria for coaches working towards accreditation. I'm a member of The AC and of their supervision SIG, and the Global Supervisors' Network. Though no longer in a corporate role, I keep my business knowledge current. I’ve an MA in Coaching and continue to update and extend my understanding of different coaching approaches and contexts.
** Integrative coach-therapist supervision:
I've a particular interest in working with practitioners who, like me, are developing their practice to integrate coaching and therapy. If you're looking for support in this emergent practice, I'd be especially happy to work with you. I am a member of BACP Coaching and their special interest group on the supervision of dual practitioners, keeping abreast of innovations in this area.
** Trainee supervisor | Consultant supervision:
In recent years, I have also supported the development and growth of other supervision professionals.
My experience:
My core training was in the person-centred approach and this continues to be at my core. I also have qualifications in CBT, EMDR, remote working, and an MA in Coaching.
My client work is with adult individuals and couples. I’ve worked for a mental health charity, a bereavement charity, a general counselling agency and a charity supporting survivors of rape and sexual abuse, and private practice.
If you'd like to know a little more about me, I was interviewed for the BACP journal Coaching Today Autumn/Winter 2023 and you can read that interview here:
